Rabbit anti-ELL Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-644A-T maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human eleven-nineteen lysine-rich leukemia using the numbering given in entry NP_006523.1 (GeneID 8178).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ELL immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Eleven-nineteen lysine-rich leukemia protein (ELL) was originally identified in a screen for genes that fuse to MLL (myeloid-lymphoid leukemia) in the t(11;19)(q23;p13.1) breakpoint. ELL is an elongation factor that increases the catalytic rate of RNA pol II by suppressing transient pausing of RNA pol II. ELL has been shown to be essential to development and important to cell growth and survival.
Alternate Names
C19orf17; eleven-nineteen lysine-rich leukemia protein; ELL gene (11-19 lysine-rich leukemia gene); ELL1; elongation factor RNA polymerase II; MEN; PPP1R68; protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 68; RNA polymerase II elongation factor ELL
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
