Rabbit anti-ENH/PDLIM5 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-704A maps to a region between residue 546 and 596 of human enigma homolog (PDZ and LIM domain 5 ) using the numbering given in entry NP_006448.2 (GeneID 10611).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ENH/PDLIM5 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-704A-T maps to a region between residue 546 and 596 of human enigma homolog (PDZ and LIM domain 5 ) using the numbering given in entry NP_006448.2 (GeneID 10611).
Additional Product Information
The PDZ and LIM domain 5 protein (PDLIM5) bears a PDZ (post-synaptic density-95/discs large/zone occludens-1) domain and three LIM (Lin-11 Isl-1 mec03) zinc-binding domains. PDLIM5 may function as an adaptor protein that mediates protein-protein interactions and interactions with the actin cytoskeleton. PDLIM5 has been implicated in the development of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Alternate Names
ENH; ENH1; enigma homolog; enigma-like LIM domain protein; enigma-like PDZ and LIM domains protein; L9; LIM; PDZ and LIM domain protein 5
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
