Rabbit anti-ERP29 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-406A maps to a region between residue 75 to 125 of human Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 29 using the numbering given in entry P30040.4 (GeneID 10961).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ERP29 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-406A-T maps to a region between residue 75 to 125 of human Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 29 using the numbering given in entry P30040.4 (GeneID 10961).
Additional Product Information
Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 29 (ERP29) is a reticuloplasmin, a protein which resides in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The protein shows sequence similarity to the protein disulfide isomerase family. However, it lacks the thioredoxin motif characteristic of this family, suggesting that this protein does not function as a disulfide isomerase. The protein dimerizes and is thought to play a role in the processing of secretory proteins within the ER [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10961)].
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
