Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FAM83H immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-327A-T maps to a region between residue 350 to 400 of human Family with Sequence Similarity 83, Member H using the numbering given in entry NP_940890.3 (GeneID 286077).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

FAM83H plays an important role in the structural development and calcification of tooth enamel. Defects in the FAM83H gene are a cause of amelogenesis imperfecta type 3 (AI3)[taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 286077)].

Alternate Names

AI3; AI3A; FAM83H variant 1; FAM83H variant 2; protein FAM83H

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
