Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FER immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-310A maps to a region between residue 400 to 450 of human Feline Encephalitis Virus-Related Kinase FER using the numbering given in entry NP_005237.2 (GeneID 2241).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FER immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A304-310A-T maps to a region between residue 400 to 450 of human Feline Encephalitis Virus-Related Kinase FER using the numbering given in entry NP_005237.2 (GeneID 2241).

Additional Product Information

Feline encephalitis virus-related kinase (FER) is a member of the FPS/FES family of nontransmembrane receptor tyrosine kinases. It regulates cell-cell adhesion and mediates signaling from the cell surface to the cytoskeleton via growth factor receptors [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 2241)].

Alternate Names

feline encephalitis virus-related kinase FER; fer (fps/fes related) tyrosine kinase; fujinami poultry sarcoma/Feline sarcoma-related protein Fer; p94-Fer; phosphoprotein NCP94; PPP1R74; protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 74; proto-oncogene c-Fer; TYK3; tyrosine kinase 3; tyrosine-protein kinase Fer

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
