Rabbit anti-FHL2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-333A maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 279) of human Four and a Half LIM domains 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_963849.1 (GeneID 2274).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FHL2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-333A-T maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 279) of human Four and a Half LIM domains 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_963849.1 (GeneID 2274).
Additional Product Information
FHL2 is a member of the four-and-a-half-LIM-domain protein family which consists of FHL1, FHL2, FHL3, FHL4, and ACT. The LIM domain is a cysteine-rich motif that mediates protein-protein interactions. FHL2 has been shown to function as a transcriptional cofactor and through its LIM domains, interact with a variety of factors which include the androgen receptor, CREB, AP-1, Runx3, SRF, FOXO1, BRCA1 and the HPV-16 E7 oncoprotein. FHL2 has been demonstrated to play an important role in heart and bone development and may influence cancer cell growth.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
