Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FOXP4 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A302-394A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human forkhead box P4 using the numbering given in entry NP_001012426.1 (GeneID 116113).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

USA

Additional Product Information

Forkhead box P4 (FOXP4) belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. Forkhead box transcription factors play important roles in the regulation of tissue- and cell type-specific gene transcription during both development and adulthood. Many members of the forkhead box gene family, including members of subfamily P, have roles in mammalian oncogenesis. FOXP4 may play a role in the development of tumors of the kidney and larynx [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID:116113)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
