Rabbit anti-FYCO1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-796A maps to a region between residue 1428 and 1478 of human FYVE and Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_078789.2 (GeneID 79443).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to FYCO1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-796A-T maps to a region between residue 1428 and 1478 of human FYVE and Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_078789.2 (GeneID 79443).
Additional Product Information
FYCO1 (FYVE and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1) has been identified as a protein that interacts with LC3, Rab7 and PI3P. FYCO1 contains a FYVE-type zinc finger, one GOLD domain, and a RUN domain. FYCO1 is suggested to play a role in microtubule plus end-directed transport of autophagic vesicles.
Alternate Names
CATC2; CTRCT18; FYVE and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1; RUFY3; RUN and FYVE domain containing 3; ZFYVE7; zinc finger FYVE domain-containing protein 7
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
