Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Gamma-Adducin immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-715A maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human Adducin 3 (gamma) using the numbering given in entry NP_058432.1 (GeneID 120).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Gamma-Adducin immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-715A-T maps to a region between residue 600 and 650 of human Adducin 3 (gamma) using the numbering given in entry NP_058432.1 (GeneID 120).

Additional Product Information

Gamma-adducin is a member of the adducin family of cytoskeleton proteins encoded by three genes (alpha, beta, gamma). Adducin is a heterodimeric protein that consists of related subunits, which are produced from distinct genes but share a similar structure. While adducins alpha and gamma are ubiquitously expressed, the expression of adducin beta is restricted to brain and hematopoietic tissues. Originally purified from human erythrocytes, adducin was found to be a heterodimer of adducins alpha and beta. Heterodimers consisting of alpha and gamma subunits have also been described [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 120)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
