Rabbit anti-GMEB1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-766A maps to a region between residue 523 and 573 of human Glucocorticoid Modulatory Element Binding Protein 1, using the numbering given in entry NP_006573.2 (GeneID 10691).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GMEB1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-766A-T maps to a region between residue 523 and 573 of human Glucocorticoid Modulatory Element Binding Protein 1, using the numbering given in entry NP_006573.2 (GeneID 10691).
Additional Product Information
Glucocorticoid modulatory element-binding protein 1 (GMEB1) is a trans-acting factor that binds to glucocorticoid modulatory elements (GME) present in the TAT (tyrosine aminotransferase) promoter and increases sensitivity to low concentrations of glucocorticoids. GMEB also binds also to the transferrin receptor promoter. It is an essential auxiliary factor for the replication of parvoviruses [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) ww.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9Y692].
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
