Rabbit anti-GRASP65 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-562A-T maps to a region between residue 375 to 425 of human Golgi Reassembly Stacking Protein 1, 65kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_114105.1 (GeneID 64689).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GRASP65 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Golgi reassembly-stacking protein of 65 kDa (GRASP65) is a stacking factor involved in the postmitotic assembly of Golgi stacks from mitotic Golgi fragments. GRASP65 is a key structural protein required for the maintenance of the Golgi apparatus integrity: its caspase-mediated cleavage is required for fragmentation of the Golgi during apoptosis. It also mediates, via its interaction with GM130, the docking of transport vesicles with the Golgi membranes [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9BQQ3].
Alternate Names
Golgi peripheral membrane protein p65; Golgi phosphoprotein 5; Golgi reassembly and stacking protein 1; golgi reassembly stacking protein 1, 65kDa; Golgi reassembly-stacking protein 1; golgi reassembly-stacking protein of 65 kDa; GOLPH5; GRASP65; P65
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
