Rabbit anti-Haspin Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-241A maps to a region between residue 300 and 350 of human serine/threonine-protein kinase Haspin (germ cell-specific gene 2) using the numbering given in entry NP_114171.2 (GeneID 83903).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Haspin immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-241A-T maps to a region between residue 300 and 350 of human serine/threonine-protein kinase Haspin (germ cell-specific gene 2) using the numbering given in entry NP_114171.2 (GeneID 83903).
Additional Product Information
Hapsin is a serine-threonine protein kinase that was originally identified as a cDNA expressed specifically in mouse testicular germ cells. Haspin associates with the chromosomes, centrosomes, and spindle and is critical for proper chromosome alignment and segregation. Haspin is responsible for the phosphorylation of histone H3 at threonine 3.
Alternate Names
germ cell associated 2, haspin; germ cell-specific gene 2 protein; GSG2; haploid germ cell-specific nuclear protein kinase; H-haspin; serine/threonine-protein kinase haspin
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
