Rabbit anti-ICT1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-845A maps to a region between residue 156 and 206 of human Peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase ICT1, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q14197.1 (GeneID 3396).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ICT1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-845A-T maps to a region between residue 156 and 206 of human Peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase ICT1, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q14197.1 (GeneID 3396).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
ICT1 is an essential peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase component of the mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit. Acts as a codon-independent translation release factor that has lost all stop codon specificity and directs the termination of translation in mitochondrion, possibly in case of abortive elongation. May be involved in the hydrolysis of peptidyl-tRNAs that have been prematurely terminated and thus in the recycling of stalled mitochondrial ribosomes. Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
