Rabbit anti-Importin 7 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-727A maps to a region between residue 200 and 250 of human Importin 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_006382.1 (GeneID 10527).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Importin 7 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-727A-T maps to a region between residue 200 and 250 of human Importin 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_006382.1 (GeneID 10527).
Additional Product Information
Importin 7 autonomously mediates the nuclear import of ribosomal proteins RPL23A, RPS7 and RPL5. It binds to a beta-like import receptor binding (BIB) domain of RPL23A. In association with KPNB1 it mediates the nuclear import of H1 histone. In vitro, importin 7 mediates nuclear import of H2A, H2B, H3 and H4 histones. Also, in vitro, it mediates the nuclear import of HIV-1 reverse transcription complex (RTC) integrase and HIF-1 alpha [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) ww.uniprot.org/uniprot/O95373].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
