Recombinant antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant.
Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 50 and 100 of human GTPase K-Ras using the numbering given in entry NP_004976.2 (Gene ID 3845).
Ras proteins bind GDP/GTP and possess intrinsic GTPase activity. K-ras plays an important role in the regulation of cell proliferation and plays a role in promoting oncogenic events by inducing transcriptional silencing of tumor suppressor genes (TSGs) lung adenocarcinoma, mucinous adenoma, ductal carcinoma of the pancreas and colorectal carcinoma.
