Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to LAP3 immobilized on solid support. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to LAP3 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A305-903A-T maps to a region between residue 469 and 519 of human Cytosol aminopeptidase using the numbering given in entry P28838.3 (GeneID 51056).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

LAP3 is a cytolosic metallopeptidase that catalyzes the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal hydrophobic amino acids from various peptides. The presence of Zn(2+) ions is essential for the peptidase activity, and the association with other cofactors can modulate the substrate spectificity of the enzyme.  [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P28838].

Alternate Names

cytosol aminopeptidase; epididymis secretory protein Li 106; HEL-S-106; LAP; LAP-3; LAPEP; Leucine aminopeptidase 3; leucyl aminopeptidase; PEPS; peptidase S; proline aminopeptidase; prolyl aminopeptidase

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
