Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MBD3 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00693 maps to a region between residue 265 and 291 of human methyl-CpG binding domain protein 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_003917.1 (GeneID 53615).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Methyl-CpG binding domain protein 3 (MBD3) is a subunit of the NuRD complex and plays a role in recruiting histone deacetylases and DNA methyltransferases to DNA for transcriptional repression.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
