Rabbit anti-MerTK/c-mer Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-222A maps to a region between residues 200 and 250 of human c-mer proto-oncogene tyrosine kinase using the numbering given in SwissProt entry Q12866 (GeneID 10461).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MerTK/c-Mer immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-222A-T maps to a region between residues 200 and 250 of human c-mer proto-oncogene tyrosine kinase using the numbering given in SwissProt entry Q12866 (GeneID 10461).
Additional Product Information
MerTK/c-mer is one of three members (Tyro3, Axl, and MerTK/c-mer) of the Tyro 3 subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTK). MerTK/c-mer was cloned from a human B-lymphoblastoid cDNA library. MerTK/c-mer Expression is absent in normal lymphocytes but is found to be ectopically expressed in lymphoblasts and in T-cell ALL cell lines. When activated MerTK/c-mer transmits antiapoptotic and transforming signals and may play a significant role in T-cell leukemogenesis.
Alternate Names
c-Eyk; c-mer; c-mer proto-oncogene tyrosine kinase; MER; MER receptor tyrosine kinase; proto-oncogene c-Mer; receptor tyrosine kinase MerTK; RP38; STK kinase; Tyro12; tyrosine-protein kinase Mer
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
