Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MTA1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-911A maps to a region between residue 665 and the C-terminus (residue 715) of human Metastasis Associated 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_004680.1 (GeneID 9112).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MTA1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-911A-T maps to a region between residue 665 and the C-terminus (residue 715) of human Metastasis Associated 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_004680.1 (GeneID 9112).

Additional Product Information

MTA1 (metastasis-associated protein 1) is a component of the NuRD (nucleosome remodeling and histone deacetylation) complex. MTA1 was identified as a factor differentially expressed in several types of metastatic carcinoma including breast cancer. MTA1 has also been demonstrated to function as a corepressor for ligand-induced estrogen receptor (ER) transactivation.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
