Rabbit anti-MYBBP1A Antibody, Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-327A-T maps to a region between residue 450 and 500 of human MYB binding protein (P160) 1a using the numbering given in entry NP_055335.1 (GeneID 10514).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MYBBP1A immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Myb binding protein 1a (MYBBP1a) was originally isolated as a c-Myb interacting protein but has been found to associate with a number of transcription factors. MYBBP1a has been shown to activate or repress transcription through its interaction with transcriptional regulators such as AHR, jun, c-Myb, NF-kappaB, and PGC-1alpha.
Alternate Names
MYB binding protein (P160) 1a; myb-binding protein 1A; P160; p53-activated protein-2; PAP2; Pol5
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
