Rabbit anti-NUP35 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-781A maps to a region between residue 276 and 376 of human nucleoporin 35kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_612142.2 (GeneID 129401).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to NUP35 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-781A-T maps to a region between residue 276 and 376 of human nucleoporin 35kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_612142.2 (GeneID 129401).
Additional Product Information
The nuclear pore complex (NPC) is a structure that spans the nuclear envelope and provides a conduit between the nucleus and cytoplasm for the nucleocytoplasmic transport of macromolecules. The main components of the NPC are nucleoporins. There are about 30 different human Nups that have been identified. Human Nup35 is the 35 kDa ortholog of the yeast Nup53p. Nup35 is also referred to as Nup53 or vertebrate Nup53. Nup35 is a component of a NPC subcomplex that contains Nup35, Nup93, Nup155, and Nup205.
Alternate Names
35 kDa nucleoporin; mitotic phosphoprotein 44; MP44; MP-44; NP44; nuclear pore complex protein Nup53; nucleoporin 35kDa; nucleoporin NUP35; nucleoporin NUP53; NUP53
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
