Rabbit anti-PAFAH1B3 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-527A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB subunit gamma using the numbering given in entry Q15102.1 (GeneID 5050).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PAFAH1B3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-527A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB subunit gamma using the numbering given in entry Q15102.1 (GeneID 5050).
Additional Product Information
Platelet-activiting factor is an acetylhydrolase that catalyzes the removal of an acetyl group from the glycerol backbone of platelet-activating factor. PAFAH1B3 is a subunit of the platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase isoform 1B complex, which consists of the catalytic beta and gamma subunits and the regulatory alpha subunit. This complex functions in brain development [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5050)].
Alternate Names
epididymis secretory sperm binding protein; PAF acetylhydrolase 29 kDa subunit; PAF-AH 29 kDa subunit; PAFAH subunit gamma; PAF-AH subunit gamma; PAF-AH1b alpha 1 subunit; PAFAHG; platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase 1b, catalytic subunit 3 (29kDa); platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB subunit gamma; platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase, isoform Ib, subunit 3 (29kDa)
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
