Rabbit anti-PanK4 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-776A maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human Pantothenate Kinase 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_060686.1 (GeneID 55229).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PanK4 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-776A-T maps to a region between residue 50 and 100 of human Pantothenate Kinase 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_060686.1 (GeneID 55229).
Additional Product Information
Pantothenate kinase 4 (PanK4) belongs to the pantothenate kinase family. Pantothenate kinase is a key regulatory enzyme in the biosynthesis of coenzyme A (CoA) in bacteria and mammalian cells. PanK4 catalyzes the first committed step in the universal biosynthetic pathway leading to CoA and is itself subject to regulation through feedback inhibition by CoA. This family member is most abundant in muscle but is expressed in all tissues [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 55229)].
Alternate Names
hPanK4; pantothenate kinase 4; pantothenic acid kinase 4
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
