Rabbit anti-PAPOLA Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-010A maps to a region between residue 694 and the C-terminus (residue 744) of human poly(A) polymerase alpha using the numbering given in entry NP_116021.2 (GeneID 10914).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PAPOLA immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-010A-T maps to a region between residue 694 and the C-terminus (residue 744) of human poly(A) polymerase alpha using the numbering given in entry NP_116021.2 (GeneID 10914).
Additional Product Information
Poly(A) polymerase alpha (PAPOLA) is the polymerase responsible for catalyzing the addition of adenosine to the 3’end of pre-mRNAs for the synthesis of the 3’-end poly(A) tail. PAPOLA associates with the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) and Fip1 to perform this function.
Alternate Names
PAP; PAP-alpha; poly(A) polymerase alpha; polynucleotide adenylyltransferase alpha
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
