Rabbit anti-PDCD4 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-106A-T maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human programmed cell death 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_055271.2 (GeneID 27250).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PDCD4 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Programmed cell death 4 (PDCD4) has been identified as a tumor suppressor that is able to inhibit tumor invasion and neoplastic transformation. The tumor suppressor activity of PDCD4 is achieved via its ability to inhibit translation initiation of proteins essential for transformation and tumor invasion. PDCD4A inhibits translation by interacting with the RNA helicase eIF4A and the scaffolding protein eIF4G.
Alternate Names
H731; neoplastic transformation inhibitor protein; nuclear antigen H731; Nuclear antigen H731-like; programmed cell death 4 (neoplastic transformation inhibitor); programmed cell death protein 4; protein 197/15a
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
