Rabbit anti-PDE8A Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-040A maps to a region between residue 779 and 829 of human Phosphodiesterase 8A using the numbering given in entry NP_002596.1 (GeneID 5151).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PDE8A immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-040A-T maps to a region between residue 779 and 829 of human Phosphodiesterase 8A using the numbering given in entry NP_002596.1 (GeneID 5151).
Additional Product Information
Phosphodiesterase 8A (PDE8A) is a member of a large family of phosphodiesterases (PDEs) that regulate the intracellular levels of cAMP and cGMP. These cyclic nucleotides play an important role as second messengers in multiple physiologic processes, including regulation of vascular resistance, cardiac output, visceral motility, immune response, inflammation, neuroplasticity, vision, and reproduction [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5151)].
Alternate Names
cAMP-specific cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 8A; high affinity cAMP-specific and IBMX-insensitive 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 8A; HsT19550
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
