Rabbit anti-PEX1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-386A-T maps to a region between residue 1100 to 1150 of human using the numbering given in entry O43933.1 (GeneID 5189).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PEX1 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Peroxin-1 (PeX1) encodes a member of the AAA ATPase family, a large group of ATPases associated with diverse cellular activities. PEX1 is cytoplasmic but is often anchored to a peroxisomal membrane where it forms a heteromeric complex and plays a role in the import of proteins into peroxisomes and peroxisome biogenesis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5189)].
Alternate Names
HMLR1; PBD1A; PBD1B; peroxin-1; peroxisome biogenesis disorder protein 1; peroxisome biogenesis factor 1; Zellweger syndrome; ZWS; ZWS1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
