Rabbit anti-PPID Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-335A-T maps to a region between residue 320 to 370 of human Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase D using the numbering given in entry Q08752.3 (GeneID 5481).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PPID immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
PPID is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. Cyclophilin-40 has been shown to possess PPIase activity and, similar to other family members, can bind to the immunosuppressant cyclosporin A [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5481)].
Alternate Names
40 kDa peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase; 40 kDa peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase D; cyclophilin 40; cyclophilin D; Cyclophilin-40; cyclophilin-related protein; CYP-40; CYPD; peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase D; PPIase D; rotamase D; testicular tissue protein Li 147
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
