Rabbit anti-PPP4R1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-837A-T maps to a region between residue 880 and the C-terminus (residue 933) of human Protein Phosphatase 4, Regulatory Subunit 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005125.1 (GeneID 9989).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PPP4C immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
PPP4R1 is a regulatory subunit associated with the PP4 serine/threonine protein phosphatase catalytic subunit PPP4C. PPP4C is structurally related to PP2AC but does not associate with the same regulatory subunits. PPP4C associates with either the PPP4R1 or PPP4R2 regulatory subunit. The PPP4C/PPP4R1 phosphatase has been demonstrated to co-purify with histone deacetylase HDAC and regulate its activity.
Alternate Names
MEG1; PP4(Rmeg); PP4R1; serine/threonine phosphatase 4; serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 4 regulatory subunit 1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
