Rabbit anti-PPP4R2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-838A maps to a region between residue 370 and the C-terminus (residue 417) of human Protein Phosphatase 4, Regulatory Subunit 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_777567.1 (GeneID 151987).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PPP4R2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-838A-T maps to a region between residue 370 and the C-terminus (residue 417) of human Protein Phosphatase 4, Regulatory Subunit 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_777567.1 (GeneID 151987).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
PPP4R2 is a regulatory subunit associated with the PP4 serine/threonine protein phosphatase catalytic subunit PPP4C. PPP4C is structurally related to PP2AC but does not associate with the same regulatory subunits. PPP4C associates with either the PPP4R1 or PPP4R2 regulatory subunit. PPP4R2 has been shown to localize to centrosomes and may function in targeting PPP4C to microtubule organizing centers.
Alternate Names
PP4R2; serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 4 regulatory subunit 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
