Rabbit anti-PTPN6/SHP1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-969A maps to a region between residue 545 to 595 of human Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 6 using the numbering given in entry P29350.1 (GeneID 5777).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PTPN6/SHP1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-969A-T maps to a region between residue 545 to 595 of human Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 6 using the numbering given in entry P29350.1 (GeneID 5777).
Additional Product Information
PTPN6/SHP-1 modulates signaling by tyrosine phosphorylated cell surface receptors such as KIT and the EGF receptor/EGFR. The SH2 regions may interact with other cellular components to modulate its own phosphatase activity against interacting substrates. Together with MTUS1, SHP-1 induces UBE2V2 expression upon angiotensin II stimulation.SHP-1 plays a key role in hematopoiesis [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P29350].
Alternate Names
HCP; HCPH; hematopoietic cell phosphatase; hematopoietic cell protein-tyrosine phosphatase; HPTP1C; protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1C; protein-tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1; PTP-1C; SHP1; SHP-1; SHP-1L; SH-PTP1; tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 6
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
