Rabbit anti-RBM28 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-925A maps to a region between residue 709 and 759 of human RNA Binding Motif Protein 28 using the numbering given in entry NP_060547.2 (GeneID 55131).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RBM28 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-925A-T maps to a region between residue 709 and 759 of human RNA Binding Motif Protein 28 using the numbering given in entry NP_060547.2 (GeneID 55131).
Additional Product Information
RNA-binding protein 28 (RBM28) is a nucleolar component of the spliceosomal ribonucleoprotein complexes that interacts with U1, U2, U4, U5, and U6 spliceosomal small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs). Defects in RBM28 are the cause of alopecia neurologic defects and endocrinopathy syndrome (ANES) [MIM:612079]. Affected individuals have hair loss of variable severity, ranging from complete alopecia to near-normal scalp hair with absence of body hair [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9NW13].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
