Rabbit anti-RIMS1/RIM1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-040A maps to a region between residue 975 to 1025 of human Regulating synaptic membrane exocytosis protein 1 using the numbering given in entry Q86UR5.1 (GeneID 22999).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RIMS1/RIM1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-040A-T maps to a region between residue 975 to 1025 of human Regulating synaptic membrane exocytosis protein 1 using the numbering given in entry Q86UR5.1 (GeneID 22999).
Additional Product Information
RIMS1 is a Rab effector involved in exocytosis (By similarity). It may act as scaffold protein that regulates neurotransmitter release at the active zone. RIMS1 is ssential for maintaining normal probability of neurotransmitter release and for regulating release during short-term synaptic plasticity (By similarity) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q86UR5].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
