Rabbit anti-RPS19 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-002A maps to a region between residue 95 to 145 of human Ribosomal Protein S19 using the numbering given in entry NP_001013.1 (GeneID 6223).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RPS19 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-002A-T maps to a region between residue 95 to 145 of human Ribosomal Protein S19 using the numbering given in entry NP_001013.1 (GeneID 6223).
Additional Product Information
Ribosomal protein S19 (RPS19) is a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. RPS19 belongs to the S19E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Mutations in this gene cause Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA), a constitutional erythroblastopenia characterized by absent or decreased erythroid precursors, in a subset of patients. This suggests a possible extra-ribosomal function for this gene in erythropoietic differentiation and proliferation, in addition to its ribosomal function [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 6223)].
Alternate Names
40S ribosomal protein S19; DBA; DBA1; eS19; S19; small ribosomal subunit protein eS19
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
