Rabbit anti-SARDH Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-856A maps to a region between residue 868 and 918 of human Sarcosine dehydrogenase, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q9UL12.1 (GeneID 1757).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SARDH immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-856A-T maps to a region between residue 868 and 918 of human Sarcosine dehydrogenase, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q9UL12.1 (GeneID 1757).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
SARDH is an enzyme localized to the mitochondrial matrix which catalyzes the oxidative demethylation of sarcosine. This enzyme is distinct from another mitochondrial matrix enzyme, dimethylglycine dehydrogenase, which catalyzes a reaction resulting in the formation of sarcosine. Mutations in this gene are associated with sarcosinemia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 1757)].
Alternate Names
BPR-2; dimethylglycine dehydrogenase-like 1; DMGDHL1; SAR; sarcosine dehydrogenase, mitochondrial; SARD; SarDH; SDH
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
