Rabbit anti-SATB2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-864A-T maps to a region between residue 250 and 300 of human Special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_056080.1 (GeneID 23314).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SATB2 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
The SATB2 (Special AT-rich Sequence-Binding Protein 2) gene has been identified as part of a chromosomal translocation involving 2q32-q33 that results in isolated cleft palate (CPO). SATB2 is an AT-rich DNA binding protein. In the rat, SATB2 expression is specific to the developing neocortex, and it is suggested to play a role in chromatin organization and gene expression in the brain.
Alternate Names
DNA-binding protein SATB2; GLSS; SATB family member 2; special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
