Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Sec13 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-980A maps to a region between residue 270 to 320 of human SEC13 using the numbering given in entry NP_899195.1 (GeneID 6396).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Sec13 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-980A-T maps to a region between residue 270 to 320 of human SEC13 using the numbering given in entry NP_899195.1 (GeneID 6396).

Additional Product Information

Sec13 belongs to the SEC13 family of WD-repeat proteins. It is a constituent of the endoplasmic reticulum and the nuclear pore complex. It has similarity to the yeast SEC13 protein, which is required for vesicle biogenesis from endoplasmic reticulum during the transport of proteins [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 6396)].

Alternate Names

D3S1231E; GATOR complex protein SEC13; npp-20; protein SEC13 homolog; SEC13 homolog, nuclear pore and COPII coating complex component; SEC13L1; SEC13-like 1 isoform; SEC13-like protein 1; SEC13R; SEC13-related protein

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
