Rabbit anti-Sec23IP/MSTP053 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-592A maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Sec23-Interacting Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_009121.1 (GeneID 11196).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Sec23IP/MSTP053 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-592A-T maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Sec23-Interacting Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_009121.1 (GeneID 11196).
Additional Product Information
Sec23IP is a protein found to interact with Sec23p which is part of COPII that coats vesicles involved in protein transport from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the golgi. COPII consists of Sar 1p and two protein complexes made up of Sec23p-Sec24p, and Sec13p-Sec31p. It appears that Sec23IP makes an important contribution to the organization of ER exit sites.
Alternate Names
MSTP053; P125; P125A; SEC23-interacting protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
