Rabbit anti-Sec31A Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-336A maps to a region between residue 775 and 825 of human SEC31 homolog A using the numbering given in entry NP_001070675.1 (GeneID 22872).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Sec31A immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-336A-T maps to a region between residue 775 and 825 of human SEC31 homolog A using the numbering given in entry NP_001070675.1 (GeneID 22872).
Additional Product Information
Sec31A is similar to yeast Sec31 protein. Yeast Sec31 protein is known to be a component of the COPII protein complex which is responsible for vesicle budding from endoplasmic reticulum (ER). This protein was found to colocalize with SEC13, one of the other components of COPII, in the subcellular structures corresponding to the vesicle transport function [taken from NCBI GeneID:22872].
Alternate Names
ABP125; ABP130; HSPC275; HSPC334; protein transport protein Sec31A; SEC31 homolog A, COPII coating complex component; SEC31L1; SEC31-like protein 1; SEC31-related protein A; web1-like protein; yeast Sec31p homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
