The epitope recognized by IHC-00710 maps to a region between residue 451 and 501 of human splicing factor 3a, subunit 3, 60kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_006793.1 (GeneID 10946).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

SF3a is necessary for the in vitro conversion of 15S U2 snRNP into an active 17S particle that performs pre-mRNA splicing [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 10946)].
