Rabbit anti-SF3B3 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00711 maps to a region between residue 1167 and 1217 of human splicing factor 3b, subunit 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_036558.3 (GeneID 23450).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SF3B3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00711-T maps to a region between residue 1167 and 1217 of human splicing factor 3b, subunit 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_036558.3 (GeneID 23450).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
SF3B3 is subunit 3 of the splicing factor 3b protein complex. Splicing factor 3b, together with splicing factor 3a and a 12S RNA unit, forms the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins complex (U2 snRNP). The splicing factor 3b/3a complex binds pre-mRNA upstream of the intron's branch site in a sequence independent manner and may anchor the U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA. Splicing factor 3b is also a component of the minor U12-type spliceosome [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 23450)].
Alternate Names

Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
