Additional Product Information
SOX13 [SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 13] is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. It has also been determined to be a type-1 diabetes autoantigen, also known as islet cell antibody 12 [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 9580].
Alternate Names
ICA12; islet cell antibody 12; islet cell antigen 12; Sox-13; SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 13; SRY-related HMG-box gene 13; transcription factor SOX-13; type 1 diabetes autoantigen ICA12
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
