Rabbit anti-SRPRA/SRPR Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-141A maps to a region between residue 225 to 275 of human Signal recognition particle receptor subunit alpha using the numbering given in entry P08240.2 (GeneID 6734).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SRPRA/SRPR immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-141A-T maps to a region between residue 225 to 275 of human Signal recognition particle receptor subunit alpha using the numbering given in entry P08240.2 (GeneID 6734).
Additional Product Information
The SRPRA gene encodes for signal recognition particle receptor subunit alpha. This subunit of the endoplasmic reticulum signal recognition particle receptor that, in conjunction with the signal recognition particle, is involved in the targeting and translocation of signal sequence tagged secretory and membrane proteins across the endoplasmic reticulum [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 6734)].
Alternate Names
docking protein alpha; DP; DP-alpha; signal recognition particle receptor (docking protein); signal recognition particle receptor subunit alpha; Sralpha; SR-alpha; SRP receptor alpha subunit; SRP-alpha; SRPR
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
