Rabbit anti-Synaptojanin 2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-963A maps to a region between residue 1446 to 1496 of human Synaptojanin 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_003889.1 (GeneID 8871).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Synaptojanin 2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-963A-T maps to a region between residue 1446 to 1496 of human Synaptojanin 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_003889.1 (GeneID 8871).
Additional Product Information
Synaptojanin 2 is a member of the inositol-polyphosphate 5-phosphatase family. Synaptojanin 2 interacts with the ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, which causes translocation of the encoded protein to the plasma membrane where it inhibits clathrin-mediated endocytosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 4141)].
Alternate Names
inositol phosphate 5'-phosphatase 2; inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase H; INPP5H; phosphoinositide 5-phosphatase; synaptic inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate 5-phosphatase 2; synaptojanin-2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
