Rabbit anti-TAX1BP1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-791A maps to a region between residue 550 and 600 of human Tax1 (human T-cell leukemia virus type I) Binding Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_006015.4 (GeneID 8887).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TAX1BP1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-791A-T maps to a region between residue 550 and 600 of human Tax1 (human T-cell leukemia virus type I) Binding Protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_006015.4 (GeneID 8887).
Additional Product Information
Tax1-binding protein 1 (TAX1BP1) inhibits TNF-induced apoptosis by mediating the TNFAIP3 anti-apoptotic activity. TAX1BP1 is degraded by caspase-3-like family proteins upon TNF-induced apoptosis. TAX1BP1 may also play a role in the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1 signaling cascade [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q86VP1].
Alternate Names
CALCOCO3; T6BP; Tax1 (human T-cell leukemia virus type I) binding protein 1; tax1-binding protein 1; TRAF6-binding protein; TXBP151
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
