Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TRAP1/HSP75 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A305-013A maps to a region between residue 600 to 650 of human Heat shock protein 75 kDa, mitochondrial using the numbering given in entry Q12931.3 (GeneID 10131).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

TRAP1/HSP75 encodes a mitochondrial chaperone protein that is member of the heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) family. The encoded protein has ATPase activity and interacts with tumor necrosis factor type I. This protein may function in regulating cellular stress responses [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10131)].

10131
TRAP1
TNF receptor associated protein 1
Q12931
Heat shock protein 75 kDa, mitochondrial

Alternate Names

heat shock protein 75 kDa, mitochondrial; HSP 75; HSP75; HSP90L; testicular tissue protein Li 209; TNFR-associated protein 1; TRAP-1; tumor necrosis factor type 1 receptor-associated protein

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
