Additional Product Information
Thyroid receptor interacting protein 6 (TRIP6) was identified as a protein that interacts with the thyroid receptor. TRIP6 is a LIM domain-containing protein and is in the same family as the adhesion plaque protein, zyxin and lipoma preferred partner (LPP). TRIP6 has been shown to localize to focal adhesion plaques as well as to the nucleus where it can act as a co-activator of transcription. Thus, it has been implicated as playing a role in cytoskeletal organization and the relay of cell signals from focal adhesion plaques to the nucleus. Alternative names for TRIP6 include OPA-interacting protein 1, OIP1, Zyxin-related protein 1 ZRP-1, MGC3837, MGC4423, MGC10556, MGC10558, and MGC29959.
Alternate Names
OIP1; OIP-1; OPA-interacting protein 1; thyroid hormone receptor interacting protein 6; thyroid receptor-interacting protein 6; TR-interacting protein 6; TRIP-6; TRIP6i2; ZRP-1; zyxin related protein 1; Zyxin-related protein 1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
