Rabbit anti-USP33 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-925A maps to a region between residue 900 and the C-terminus (residue 942) of human Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 33 using the numbering given in entry NP_055832.3 (GeneID 23032).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific processing protease 33 (USP33) is a member of this family.
Alternate Names
deubiquitinating enzyme 33; hVDU1; pVHL-interacting deubiquitinating enzyme 1; ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 33; ubiquitin thioesterase 33; ubiquitin thiolesterase 33; ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 33; VDU1; VHL-interacting deubiquitinating enzyme 1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
