Rabbit anti-USP47 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-048A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human ubiquitin specific peptidase 47 using the numbering given in entry NP_060414.3 (GeneID 55031).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to USP47 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-048A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human ubiquitin specific peptidase 47 using the numbering given in entry NP_060414.3 (GeneID 55031).
Additional Product Information
Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific peptidase (USP47) is a UBP.
Alternate Names
deubiquitinating enzyme 47; Trf (TATA binding protein-related factor)-proximal homolog; TRFP; ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 47; ubiquitin thioesterase 47; ubiquitin thiolesterase 47; ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 47
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
