Rabbit anti-ZCCHC8 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-806A maps to a region between residue 657 to 707 of human zinc finger, CCHC domain containing 8 using the numbering given in entry NP_060082.2 (GeneID 55596).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZCCHC8 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-806A-T maps to a region between residue 657 to 707 of human zinc finger, CCHC domain containing 8 using the numbering given in entry NP_060082.2 (GeneID 55596).
Additional Product Information
ZCCHC8 is a zinc-finger protein that bears a zinc-binding motif composed of a CX2CX4HX4C sequence (where X can be any amino acid). ZCCHC8 also bears a PSP domain, a proline rich domain found in numerous splicesome associated proteins. ZCCHC8 has been identified as a component of the splicesome C complex and as a substrate of glycogen synthase kinase-3. It is suggested to play a role in the processing and metabolism of RNA.
Alternate Names
TRAMP-like complex RNA-binding factor ZCCHC8; zinc finger CCHC domain-containing protein 8; zinc finger, CCHC domain containing 8
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
